went to nus for science talk today. had to wake up at frigging 7 oclock so that can reach there at 9. owells. their welcome talk was just reading out names of the profs and all quite lame. but the cors talk quite useful ba. and i've changed my mind im studying statistics instead of chemistry alrdy. because i sort of have lesser confidence in my chemistry as each day passes. lolol. ok so yea statistics and applied probability. :)
after that had lunch at some sci fac canteen. THE RICE SUCKED so smelly. wont eat it again. lol. and den we went MPSH to see laptops and after walking around. mary me and weifen had decided we wld buy the thinkpad T400. cos can pour as much water as you like on it. can drop it as much times u want. and can step on it. lol. and we managed to psycho the person to give us freebies. hahaa. at first didnt want to buy. but since studying statistics i think better get one to back up my dell which is currently slogging on its 4th year and not really going strong. local connection point totally unusable. scrolling pad gone. space bar spoiled and i repaired it by pasting blue tack. screen has one pixel gone and there's a "mole". quite glad that it could last so long. given the fact that my sister's vaio lasted as long as it's warranty. lolol. didnt know we need to apply for tertiary ezlink card. if not could be able to get it next tues. because i didnt know there's 2 cards. student card and ezlink card different eh. ok im a noob. lol. finally decided not to go for camp. i wont regret it. because i saved 40 bucks and savaged 5 days of precious sleep i could get before school starts. not driving tmr again. due to some unforeseen circumstances. rarr. does anyone know what is statistics in chinese? |
